Phylicia Hopkins
Phylicia Hopkins is an accomplished educator with 12 years of experience in the Hancock County School District. A proud Hancock High School alumna, she graduated in 2006 and has since dedicated her career to fostering student growth and development. Phylicia began her journey as an Elementary General Education Teacher before transitioning to Special Education at Hancock Middle School. Her leadership skills soon led her to roles as a lead teacher and assistant principal at the same school. Currently, she is the director of Hawks’ Harbor Alternative School, where she continues to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
Phylicia is married and the proud mother of four children: three daughters, aged 16, 12, and 8, and a 2-year-old son. She balances her professional responsibilities with her vibrant family life, drawing inspiration from her husband and children.
